Samantha Ronson, lost a really good friend tonight, and for me it is still surreal. I am deeply saddened, and find it hard to believe that DJ AM, Adam Goldstein, who was only 36, is gone. Adam passed away some time before 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2009. Adam survived a fatal plane crash, being seriously injured Sept. 19, when his Learjet 60 plane in Columbia, S.C. crashed at takeoff. Four people died in the crash and Travis Barker, the former drummer of the group Blink-182, and Adam Goldstein, DJ AM were in critical condition with severe burns.
