Kanye West previewed a big chunk of his upcoming fifth album at Facebook’s corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. last night. He didn’t play finished tracks from an iPod, or perform any typical concert. The suited rapper simply climbed on a table and spit verses from four new tunes, a cappella, for what looks like a fluorescently lit conference room full of employees. It’s the biggest glimpse we’ve gotten yet of West’s highly anticipated disc, for which his label has yet to announce a confirmed title or release date. Crisp footage of West’s unconventional performance made it to YouTube lickety-split, of course. So what can we glean from his latest lyrics? After being interrupted by a ringing phone — seriously, Facebook employees, Kanye West is giving you an exclusive private performance and you’re not on vibrate? — he launches into what he describes as “a fun rap.” “Kill the hypocrisy/This is an aristocracy,” West rhymes.

After it was spotted, Yeti-like, by a few eagle-eyed observers this spring, Facebook has officially launched its Facebook Questions product in a limited beta test--and it may have some big implications for the Web. "Millions of people ask their friends questions on Facebook every day. What new music should I listen to? Where's the best sushi place in town? How do I learn to play the piano?" a Facebook blog post announcing the new feature explained. "With this new application, you can get a broader set of answers and learn valuable information from people knowledgeable on a range of topics." About 1 percent of Facebook users will have early beta access to Facebook Questions, and it will be gradually rolled out to the rest of Facebook's 500-million-plus active users after that. Any Facebook user can ask a question from a new "question dashboard," the profile "publisher" that lets members update their statuses and add photos, or through the search box. They can tag their questions with category keywords, too, and those tags will eventually be used to fill up an aggregate "questions" tab on relevant Community Pages on Facebook.

Facebook Inc. officially took the wraps off of its new question-and-answer feature Wednesday. Millions of people already ask their friends questions on the site each day. This way users can get “a broader set of answers and learn valuable information from people knowledgeable on a range of topics,” Black Ross, a director of product management at Facebook, wrote in a company blog post. The feature called Facebook Questions gives users a way to tap into the “collective knowledge” of more than 500 million people, Ross said. The questions, and the answers, will be public so anyone on the Internet can see them. The only way to ask a question privately is by posing it as a status update on your profile. That openness is reminiscent of other services that let people ask and answer questions. As we wrote earlier this week, major Internet players and start-ups are experimenting with how to quickly route people to the answers they want, some by connecting them with people with specific expertise or knowledge. Think of the effort as a way to give everyone their own personal search engine.

Well, it looks like those break-up rumors were false. Adorable Eclipse co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seemed to be really enjoying each other’s company during the festivities following their big premiere. According to Hollywood Life, the two spent almost the entire night together. A spy says that after Kristen and Robert left separately from the official post-premiere party at LA Live the two met up a super intimate after-after party for the cast and crew only at a swanky Los Angeles hotel. Apparently the couple held hands the entire night and acted “very social” with their cast mates. However, poor Taylor Lautner must have felt like the odd man out with no one to canoodle with in darkened corners. But we don’t think he didn’t have a good time: the hunky 18-year-old actor apparently spent the entire night talking with Lance Bass before busting out some serious dance moves to Rihanna’s “Rude Boy.” Well, it looks like those break-up rumors were false.

We’re four days away from the world wide release of the latest Twilight Saga installment Eclipse, but that doesn’t mean that the world isn’t already buzzing over film’s inevitable sequel. Already we’ve had the many months long debate over whether or not the fourth book in the Twilight series Breaking Dawn, would actually be the fourth AND fifth movies in film adaptation. However, now with that rumor finally being confirmed, a much more, let’s say “interesting” debate had begun;
Would Edward and Bella have sex in the movie? Now, I can admit to never having read the book but, knowing people who have, I can tell you the scene in question is LEGENDARY amongst Twi-hards and easily one of the most discussed passages in the series of books (In fact, I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve been asked, If I’ve ever thought to rip a pillow, but I digress). That being said it’s obvious to see why it was hard to imagine the, so far, PG-13 series of movies being able to do the scene justice or if it would be included at all! But just as the debate began to grow larger, Breaking Dawn screenwriter Marissa Rosenberg was there to clear up the rumors.

The 17-year-old actress, who recently stated she’s not a huge fan of vampires, has the star of Eclipse, Kristen Stewart, on her side. Upon hearing that Miley isn’t falling over the phenom, Kristen told EOnline, “Is she scared of them or does she just not like them? I don’t think you should convince people of something if they already have their way of thinking about. Before Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas ended their relationship in May, the couple has teamed up in a photo shoot for the July cover of Teen Vogue, which will available on newsstands on July 6. As they were still dating at that time, the photos show how romantic they were. In one shot, Demi, who dons blue ruffle dress, is seen whispering into Joe’s ear while they sit on a big motorcycle. In another picture, additionally, the then-couple looks intimate as they chat and laugh in what appears to be a workshop. In addition to the photo shoot, Demi and Joe agreed to interview each other for the magazine. “What’s your favorite thing about me?,” Demi started asking the Jonas Brothers star. But the interview did not run smoothly because instead of answering the question, Joe responded with another quiz, saying “Do you really want me to answer that? Why don’t you tell me: On set, what was your favorite snack? Because I think I already know.”
