Actress Eva Mendes has claimed she ‘loves’ being naked and is happy to strip off on screen. The Hitch star told W magazine that she isn’t prudish when it comes to getting her kit off, stating: “I’ve never had a problem with nudity, but I don’t put it out there without a reason.” “I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything almost. I’ll go there. I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being a sex symbol,” Mendes who has starred alongside Nicholas Cage and Will Smith in various productions also admitted to getting naked in her own time. She said: “I love being naked. I do everything in the nude, even the gardening! We’re Cuban, and it’s a hot island. Why not go nude?”

Eva Mendes is spilling out of her dress on the cover of the July issue of W, on newsstands June 22. But it’s no big deal for the actress. She has posed nude for Maxim and stirred up a controversy with her bare nipple in a 2008 TV ad for Calvin Klein perfume. “I’ve never had a problem with nudity,” she says in the W story, “but I don’t put it out there without a reason. I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything, almost. I’ll go there.” When asked whether nudity makes her feel objectified, she says, “I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being what they call a sex symbol. It’s a hard one to walk if you want to be known as a real, credible actor. But I’ve never felt objectified. Nothing you see me do is an accident. . . . I’m incredibly calculated when it comes to my career.”

The actress showed off her sexy skills as a guest on comedian George Lopez’s new show – following through on a promise she made her pal if his pilot got picked up.

But sexy Eva wasn’t about to show George and America all her twirls and pearls on a pole set up in the studio, wearing a tight, sequined mini-dress.

She reserves that ‘act’ for husband Tony Parker in the confines of their bedroom – and hopes she can pull off the sexy moves better than she did on Valentine’s Day.

She recalls, “I got on it to swing and I went `whack’ and I fell.”
