his traditional Spanish game, El juego de la oca, is a board game similar to Snakes and Ladders. Players roll dice and move in a spiral to reach the center of the board. If they land on la oca (the goose), they move ahead to the next oca and roll again, saying De oca a oca y tiro porque me toca. If they land on the bridge, they move to the next bridge and roll again saying De puente a puente y tiro porque me lleva la corriente.

Spanish song for children – Yo tengo una carita que parece una casita
This is a traditional Spanish song for children. It compares a face to a house. The song has simple actions and uses lots of common vocabulary. You can make up any actions so that kids point to the body parts when they are mentioned. The ones I teach are a lot like the actions in the second video below, but I include the nose as the timbre (doorbell).

Spanish Game for Children – ¿Dónde está el pájaro?
This is a guessing game and it is easy to adapt to different size groups and levels. To play this game children sit in a circle. One child who is going to guess stands apart and hides her eyes. The kids pass a toy bird around the circle while they sing and when the song ends whoever is holding the bird hides it.

New MacBooks to debut at WWDC?
Apple's next generation of MacBook Pros will be unveiled at next month's Worldwide Developers Conference, according to a new report.
Adding to claims made by 9to5mac earlier today, Bloomberg now says Apple will take the wraps off thinner Mac notebooks that feature Retina Displays and Flash memory at its developer-centric show next month.
Citing multiple unnamed sources, Bloomberg says the new MacBook Pros will be less than 0.95 inch (24mm) thick and sport Intel's third-generation Core series chips, code-named Ivy Bridge.
The report is the latest to suggest Apple is on the verge of updating its Mac portable line with a thinner design. Earlier today Apple blog 9to5mac said Apple was "putting the finishing touches" on a revamped version of its 15-inch MacBook Pro with a higher-resolution display and USB 3.0, all with the removal of the optical drive to shrink it down in size. Bloomberg's report makes no such mention of that feature disappearing.
