Eva Mendes Will Do – and Bare – Almost Anything for Acting

http://celebritiesstalker.com

Some actresses may use body doubles for steamy scenes, but that’s something Eva Mendes doesn’t want to rely on. “I’ve never had a problem with nudity, but I don’t put it out there without a reason,” the 36-year-old tells W magazine in its July issue. “I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything almost. I’ll go there.” In fact, Mendes says she was the one who suggested to Training Day director Antoine Fuqua that she should bare all in one of the movie’s first scenes – even though the script didn’t call for it. “I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being what they call a sex symbol,” says the star, who also showed plenty of skin in her steamy Calvin Klein ads in 2008 and 2009.

Actress Eva Mendes has claimed she ‘loves’ being naked and is happy to strip off on screen. The Hitch star told W magazine that she isn’t prudish when it comes to getting her kit off, stating: “I’ve never had a problem with nudity, but I don’t put it out there without a reason.” “I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything almost. I’ll go there. I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being a sex symbol,” Mendes who has starred alongside Nicholas Cage and Will Smith in various productions also admitted to getting naked in her own time. She said: “I love being naked. I do everything in the nude, even the gardening! We’re Cuban, and it’s a hot island. Why not go nude?”

Mendes loves nudity

http://celebritiesstalker.com

American actress Eva Mendes has said that she has no issues in baring all for a movie. The Hitch star is not too strict about flaunting her curves in front of the camera as long as the part requires it. “I’ve never had a problem with nudity, but I don’t put it out there without a reason. I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything almost. I’ll go there,” Mendes said during an interview with W magazine. Although the 36-year-old actress is comfortable with nudity, she accepts that her willingness to embrace her sexuality can influence the types of roles she is offered. “I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being a sex symbol,” she said. “But I’ve never felt objectified,” she added. Mendes had earlier said that she does her gardening in the nude. “I love being naked. I do everything in the nude, even the gardening,” Mendes said. “We’re Cuban, and it’s a hot island. Why not go nude,” she added.

'Burn Notice': The Scorcher Has Returned

http://www.buddytv.com

Michael Westen is in trouble again. What else is new? Well, another season of Burn Notice is new. But Michael Westen's problems are just the same. Last season, we found out that the mysterious group Management is behind Michael Westen's (Jeffrey Donovan) banishment from the CIA and therefore trapping him in Miami. But in Thursday's Season 4 opener "Friends and Enemies," we find out that another super organization that's in charge of Management are really the ones behind Michael's burn notice. They were also the group who kidnapped Michael at the end of last season. Eventually, Michael and Vaughn, presumably the leader of this new group, partner up to deal with Simon, the psycho ex-operative who wants to destroy Management, and Simon's connection with an international war of profits. This seems like a turning point for Michael's character as he begins to turn even more bitter about his burn notice. But there's the chance that Michael could get his old job back, cancelling the burn notice. Isn't that what Michael wants after all? And while the major plot was compelling enough, the minor plot in Thursday's episode was more interesting,

'Burn Notice': New season, new handler

http://blog.zap2it.com

In the fourth season premiere of "Burn Notice," Michael doesn't learn much about the people who burned him or the people who are holding him, except that they're the same people. He does, however, get a new handler, a fellow named Vaughn who doesn't seem like a complete nutbar. In fact, he convinces Michael that they're on the same side, up against whoever it was who paid to have Simon sprung from the clink and turned loose on an unsuspecting populace. Also sprung from the clink: Michael himself, who doesn't even have time to kick his shoes off before he finds himself joining in on Sam and Fi's Job Of The Week, already in progress. It seems some chivalrous lawyer offended a biker gang, and now he's marked for death. With Barry's help, Michael and the gang fake a bunch of financial records showing that their client is mixed up with the gang; enough so that if he dies, the gang goes down, too, in a federal investigation. The biker boss has to quell a minor mutiny within his ranks to call off the hit, but of course Michael and the team are there to help with that, too.
