Cheryl Cole wows her fans on her return to the live stage in Dublin

Dazzling Cheryl Cole turned on the style and showed off her fighting spirit as she made a blistering return to the live stage last night - her first gig since splitting from husband Ashley. The X Factor queen delivered a stunning set to 14,000 fans in Dublin as a warm-up act for rapper pal Will.i.am and Black Eyed Peas. And Will.i.am delivered his own salute to the Girls Aloud star, rapping: "Cheryl Cole's so sexy." But it might be one of her last performances using her married name, Cole. She plans to revert to her maiden name Tweedy or simply use just her first name for her next CD. The move is a fresh blow for hubby, Chelsea and England footballer Ashley, who she plans to divorce after he repeatedly cheated on her. A source said: "Cheryl wants to move on. This name change is the final thing she feels she has to do . She's numb about the marriage ending." But last night Cheryl, 26, was a woman transformed, wearing a cap, crop top and cutaway trousers. Several costume changes later, she stripped to a leotard then wore a white ballgown for her hit Parachutes.
